Opt-E strengthens its position in the market of energy efficiency with acquisition of ClevAir AS

Kristiansand, 10.01.2024 – Opt-E AS, the leading Norwegian company in technology for the energy efficiency of pumps and fans, buys ClevAir AS, which supplies automated optimization of ventilation in commercial buildings.

The acquisition marks a significant strengthening of Opt-e's offer of optimization solutions. Both companies have developed algorithms that reduce energy consumption to the benefit of the environment and the customers' savings.

Opt-E AS has carried out an equity raising a total of 33 MNOK, and thus also strengthened the company's financial position.

ClevAir AS: ClevAir is an innovative supplier of Software as a Service (SaaS) for optimizing ventilation in commercial buildings. By controlling the ventilation based on sensors in the buildings, ClevAir contributes to energy and CO2 savings of 15-25%. The acquisition took effect on the first of January 2024. The CEO of Opt-E and ClevAir is Johnny Ballestad.
